‘’Volunteering, gathering up work experience, bridging gaps and helping out within the community has always been a passion of mine. I've picked up quite a varied skillset and certificate collection along the way. (From a baby massage course to my neighbour of the year award a couple of years back- I'm always looking to expand on my knowledge and do some good with it)
Over the last twelve years I completed my core education with a distinction* in my beauty NVQ while contributing in schools, the library, a salon, some small businesses and the planning of a few successful charity fundraisers. I had a breif couple of years in the food industry before leaving to reconnect with my family and friends and further persue the things that bring me joy and quench my curiosity while also finding ways to give back to the community when I can.
Some of the training/courses I've completed include topics like health and safety, parenting, food hygine, first aid, safeguarding and I'll be hoping to add more to my list very soon.
When I'm not covered in paint or balanced up in the shop's window to set up a new pretty display, I can usually be found wrapped up in a blanket with a good book, some music or my Nintendo games. If I'm not already 5 hours deep into my next side project or busy fighting off the pirate fairies in a sea of lava with my children.’’

CEO Story- Rachel
Many young people feel overloaded, this can be increased with SEN and SEMH barriers. My mission is to support them and teach the world around them to support them.
Training in Fine Art and a PGCE in Education began my journey to support young people to express themselves and their confidence to flourish. I have worked in schools, colleges and training providers with learners who have EHCP's and many social and emotional barriers. My journey has explored School SEN Governor roles and supporting the vulnerable through court cases.
I believe in a Positive Behaviourial Support Model encompassing my training in CBT and Counselling. As a member of CTAA I currently work alongside others in complimentary therapies. I have provided young people, educational settings and families with strategies to overcome barriers and embrace their skills in the world.
After many years in education I decided to follow my passion to share my knowledge and support young people from all backgrounds in group and 1:1 settings.
Overloaded offers many support services that are accessible for all, we also offer bespoke packages covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire and would love to hear from you.
